The RAM 1500 pick-up comes in eight impressive 2024 models. Get to know each of these trims before you test drive your top pick at your local RAM truck dealership.

Tradesman

The base model of the RAM 1500 is a crew cab with a 6-foot-4-inch box and 18-inch steel wheels. You can tow up to 7,760 pounds with the V6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission.

Standard equipment in this truck includes heated exterior mirrors, a six-speaker stereo, and a 5-inch touchscreen with the Uconnect 3 infotainment system. The Tradesman trim also comes with a rearview camera, push-button start with remote keyless entry, and trailer sway damping.

Tradesman HFE

The Tradesman HFE shares its cab, box, and powertrain specs with the base model. As a high-fuel-efficiency model, it doesn’t have the option to upgrade the engine or transmission. It also has a slightly lower towing capacity of 6,740 pounds.

Appearance additions to the HFE trim include 20-inch aluminum wheels, chrome headlight bezels, RAM door badges, and a special HFE badge. It also gets standard side steps, carpeted floors with a large console, and a roll-up tonneau cover.

Big Horn

This trim also builds on the base model in terms of body and cab size, with added features like a brightly colored rear bumper, chrome wheel surrounds, and footwell lamps. In addition to special badging, the Big Horn model upgrades the vinyl bench seats to comfortable cloth.

Laramie

The RAM 1500 Laramie is a crew cab pickup with a 5-foot-7-inch box. It adds standard features like climate-controlled front seats, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, and a nine-speaker stereo with HD and XM radio. It also has an upgraded Uconnect 5 infotainment system with an expanded 8.4-inch touchscreen, as well as integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Rebel

This trim shares a body style with the LaRAMie and includes an enhanced towing capacity of up to 7,210 pounds. The Rebel also features distinctive two-tone color schemes and automatic headlights.

Limited Longhorn

Added standard features in this 1500 model include auto high beams, overhead LEDs, and LED projector headlamps. The Limited Longhorn also has a unique look with chrome body molding, body-colored door handles, and accent fender flares. This trim includes a power-sliding rear window, power-adjustable driver and passenger seats, and climate-controlled second-row seats, as well as a larger 12-inch touchscreen.

Limited

This powerful trim adds a V8 engine, which pushes the towing capacity to 8,190 pounds. The Limited model also incorporates standard blind-spot and cross-path detection.

TRX

The TRX gives you the performance of a supercharged V8, with a slightly lower towing capacity of 8,100 pounds. This trim mirrors the Rebel’s sporty two-tone color options and has an exclusive black grille surround, exterior badging, and headlight bezels. It also features a sport performance hood.
